Integrate
SiteGuardian for Carrd. Watch the single page that does the whole job.
Carrd is the one-page builder for landing pages and simple sites. There is one URL worth watching. The URL a visitor types. SiteGuardian pings it once a minute and emails you the second it stops answering. No plugin, no platform hookup, no SDK.
- Probe your Carrd front-end URL once a minute.
- Works on the free .carrd.co subdomain and on a custom domain.
- No Carrd app, no plugin, no platform-side hookup required.
- Custom slow threshold per URL. Tight on the form endpoint.
- SSL certificate expiry watcher on every plan.
What you get
What you actually get on Carrd.
Six concrete platform-specific things, in plain English. The boring safeguard reads the same on every site; the path to it does not.
No Carrd hookup required
SiteGuardian pings the URL a visitor would type. There is no Carrd widget, no plugin, no publish-time hookup. The watch runs from the network edge.
Watches the URL a visitor opens
Add the custom domain (https://www.example.com) or the .carrd.co subdomain. SiteGuardian probes from the visitor’s perspective, regardless of which form you have on the page.
Custom slow thresholds per URL
Tight 1.5-second slow thresholds on pages that carry a form or a payment button; looser on a hero-only landing page. SiteGuardian treats each URL independently.
SSL certificate expiry watcher
On a Carrd custom domain the cert is yours to renew. SiteGuardian pings the cert path daily and emails you at 90 / 30 / 7 / 1 days out.
Multi-region probing
Carrd sites sit on Carrd’s CDN. SiteGuardian probes from multiple regions so a single-region CDN blip does not falsely trip the alert.
Quiet inbox by default
One loud email per outage, one recovery email per come-back. That is the entire sound.
How it works
Setup, in three beats.
Step 01
Add your Carrd URL
Paste the public link (https://www.example.com or https://yoursite.carrd.co). Set a slow threshold in plain English. SiteGuardian starts probing inside the next minute.
Step 02
Add the URLs worth watching on linked sub-pages
If your Carrd site links out to blog posts or a thank-you page, add those too. The rule: one URL per page that would silently cost you a Tuesday afternoon if it stopped answering.
Step 03
Sit on the inbox
Carrd is the kind of platform where the small site owner’s instinct is “another app, no.” SiteGuardian is exactly that. One email per outage, no app to install.
What the alert actually says
One email. One URL. One timestamp.
Your URL https://www.example.com answered with HTTP 503 at 11:47 UTC. The probe will retry in 60 seconds.Frequently asked
