Monitor

Online store uptime that emails one alert across the storefront, cart, and checkout.

An online store is at least four URLs that all need to be answering at once: the storefront, the cart, the checkout, the thank-you page. One URL offline is downtime; all four answering is uptime. SiteGuardian watches all four on a minute cadence, with one loud email per failure across the set.

  • Watches the storefront, /cart, /checkout, and the thank-you page together.
  • Probes every minute on Pro. Fast enough to catch the day one of the four went down overnight.
  • Tight slow threshold per URL. The /checkout slow is the one that matters most.
  • Multi-region probing so a CDN blip does not falsely trip the alert.
  • No app install, no plugin, no platform-specific SDK.

How it works

Setup, in three beats.

  1. Step 01

Add the four URLs that make a working checkout flow

Paste the storefront, /cart, /checkout, and the order-received thank-you page. Set a tight slow threshold on /checkout (1.5 seconds is sane) and a slightly looser one on /cart. SiteGuardian starts probing inside the next minute.

  2. Step 02

Let the multi-URL watch keep one inbox for the store

Each URL runs its own probe on the minute cadence, and each fires its own email on failure. Most online-store teams add wp-admin or Shopify-admin to the list so a login break gets the same treatment.

  3. Step 03

Catch a half-broken store before the basket-missed metric climbs

A storefront that answers while /checkout returns 502 is the worst kind of outage: shoppers reach the store, add to cart, then abandon at the broken checkout. SiteGuardian catches the half-broken store the same minute it happens.

What the alert actually says

One email. One URL. One timestamp.

Your URL https://yourstore.com/checkout answered with HTTP 502 at 11:47 UTC. The probe will retry in 60 seconds.
